Dath'Remar Sunstrider = he who walks by day. Did he walk by day before he became diurnal? Did Night elves ever pay tribute to the sun or was moonworship also so repulsive that the highborne all decided to worship the exact opposite.
Grom Hellscream = did he scream before going into battle because he was named hellscream?
what was the blackrock orcs named before they came to Azeroth and discovered blackrock mountain?
The beautiful land of Draenor just happened to have a peninsula named "hellfire peninsula"......
No wonder the orcs wanted to eradicate the draeni. After years of living, some space creatures settle down and label your entire planet after themselves. Kind of weird also that the were hiding from the legion but yet named a planet after themselves.... did they think the demons wouldnt ask "By the way, whats the name of this planet?"
I could go on, in fact, I will!
Any other examples of corny lore?

Well, Blackrock Mountain may have been named after the orcs.
Draenor was a red and somewhat desolate land - that's why Thrall chose Durotar for his new homeland, and the influence of Draenor turned the Black Morass into the Blasted Lands. Seeing as how nothing in the Eastern Kingdoms was anything like that, it's safe to assume that the Alliance named the peninsula.

Draenor was a red and somewhat desolate land That's the effect of the demonic influence/Dark Portals.

why did the black dragon become evil? could it be for once that black and evil not be so closely associated? why couldnt he be brown or even white? why him anyway? why not Malygos?
and why did the darkirons have to be the badguys? why not the lightirons?
why is blackmoore one of teh few badguy humans? why not a guy called whitemoore?
seems that the place was called blackrock even before the orcs moved into it....
I'm also waiting to see what kind of wolves exist in Draenor. are they goodguy white wolves or badguy black wolves.. or any wolves at all leading me to wonder where the frostwolves got THIER name from.

Kidding man. I know the lore; but why did the writers of the lore choose the color black to represent evil? I actually know he answer to that too thats why I think its corny.
