Just a thought that a colleague and I had regarding Duskwood.
Follow a path off of the road east of Darkshire and you'll find a clearing with waterfall, and some sort of shrine. Considering that the statues there match those at the Dark Portal, and the relative adjacence to Karazhan, would it be fair to say that this is the Tomb of Medivh, the Last Guardian?
Just a thought. I haven't been able to find a reference to it in-game or on WowWiki.

I've been there. Didn't really think of that, actually...
Wait. Who was the Prophet in Warcraft Three, Khadgar or Medivh?

Medivh. Khadgar is still on the other side of the Dark Portal in Outland. I believe he and at least some of the WCII heroes will be out there.

Did Medivh actually die then? I thought at the end he just flew off..
EDIT: I don;t think he could have died of old age.. In Cycle of Hatred, Medivh's mother (Augh, forgot her name..) is still alive.

The physical manifestation of Medivh that was Sargergas is gone, Sargergas only kept a portion of his soul intact to maintain the 'human' appearance, so I doubt Medivh would have a tomb as he was freed. (His soul.) from the demon's hold.
And it was Aegywynn I believe. ;3
((Just putting down what I remember reading.))

But, it is possible. You never know with Blizzard. >_> Though I really think the medieval feel to warcraft was finally crushed with the Draenei coming. =/

I think selinda is right Medhiv's human body was slain (by Khadgar his apprentice and others)and laid to rest at the shrine in duskwood. The prophet in WC3 is Medhiv's immortal and untainted presence.

I believe it's stated somewhere, but I forget where, that Aegwynn uses the last of her powers to revive Medivh, but he's free of Sargeras's influence by then.

Well, they've had advanced technology in the Warcraft series for a while..
Submarines and helicopters in Warcraft Two. Warcraft Three has just so much...

You know, I always love Medivh since Warcraft 1. (Am 19 by the way, I was just vary young at the time ) Since Warcraft 3, I always felt like being the apprentence of Medivh. So, I made a character in another realm a human/mage. We was a apprentence of Medivh in Warcraft 3; and after Medivh left, he wondered the world trying to keep things peaceful; because he believes that is what Medivh wants.

Personally I despise the medieval cookie cutter crap that is passed for intellectual ingenuity in the majority of fantasy/sci-fi venues. Warcraft without the tram, zepps, gnomeregan and all of those other things wouldn't be anything but another complete rehash of about 20 years of Forgotten Realms and DnD. Personally, I wouldn't touch it without the sci-fi feel.

Metzen later corrects this when he thoroughly describes the castle. It's more of a floating castle that can transport itself from world to world. It, in itself, is a portable dark portal. It does not travel through space. It does not go through atmosphere.

The Draeni fortress performs Level 1337 blink.
Medhiv's Castle is a nexus of time distortion.
Magic, not technology....
"Good guy" draeni that look like eredar is my major quibble. Draeni should be primitive shamanistic and ugly (upside of this is that the eredar model will be in game).
Seems strange that the orcs used to boot the draeni all over the place and now they are found out to be so endowed with all this technology, holy and magical power. Also Draeni are not at all human-like either as was recounted in lore.: how does Garona look? is she still half draeni as told in original lore?
