Could anyone verify this? I believe it was said that the orcs in the first game worshipped satan, and the humans worshipped God. If so, could anyone state what they know of it? I would like to know what else Blizzard messed up. ^_~

It never said that. Blizzard has always been careful to keep modern religion out, leaving it to vague references like "light" and "darkness," which people can call whatever they wish.

It is said though that "angels once came to Azeroth to aid the humans" there has been a simply mind blowing amount of retcon ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retcon ) in Warcraft since pretty much day one. To the point where Metzen himself actually had to post on the WoW forums to clear some things up. Basically I just ignore a good portion of it and take the most recent things said as legitimate lore. For an index of all things WC retcon check out: www.wowwiki.com/Retcon

In a recent Warcraft Three Patch, the Draeni Builders in the TFT Bloodelf campaign can now build spaceships as their air unit, which they are lacking in.

Actually I even got the impression that Orcs were Natives of Azeroth and were just swamp dwellers. Draenor and the whole 'stargate' to another world only became part of the lore in WC2. No doubt about the fact that the lore grows on an ad-hoc basis and quite often contradicts itself. I get used to it. I am dissapointed in Metzen, if he does this to starcraft (my real love) then I am going to be sad. Now that I mention that and think about it, Blizzard/Metzen has always intended to have an 'orcs in space' type game. starcraft was slated to be a true sequel to warcraft with ner'zhul (sp)and his warlocks meeting up and fighting aliens (protoss/draeni?) in spaceships.

If Blizzard did that, then I'm packing up and going to the Lord of the Rings MMORPG.
